London, June 16, 2022 – The Montreux Jazz Festival has today announced the livestreaming schedule for its 56th edition, taking place next month on the shores of Lake Geneva from 1 July to 16 July 2022. Performances from the iconic Auditorium Stravinski and Montreux Jazz Lab will be available to watch free of charge on Stingray’s Qello Concerts livestreaming platform. Anyone, wherever they are, can enjoy the magic of the festival.
Featuring a combination of the best acts around and stars in the making, the lineup includes a-ha, Asaf Avidan, Ashnikko, Black Pumas, Dino Brandão, Gabriels, John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension with special guest Jany McPherson, Marc Rebillet, Mighty Oaks, Odezenne, Rejjie Snow, Robert Stillman, Sabrina Claudio, The Regrettes, Tom Rosenthal, Westerman, Yola and more.
The livestreamed acts form part of an illustrious line-up for the festival’s 56th edition which includes artists such as Motown legend Diana Ross, hip-hop superstar Stormzy, Icelandic pop innovator Björk and Celtic soul master Van Morrison.
Tuning into the livestream isn’t the only way fans can enjoy the festival for free. Last week the festival announced a huge programme of free activities and performances taking place across 11 stages with artists including the UK’s Eurovision star Sam Ryder, radio DJ and cultural tastemaker Gilles Peterson, charming TikTokers Peach Tree Rascals and drum and bass legend Goldie B2B with Detroit producer DJ Bone.
