If the Vienna Philharmonic’s website is up to date, then current concerts with Christian Thielemann and Zubin Mehta are going ahead in the Musikverein, including the former’s Bruckner 3 just this morning, also tomorrow’s matinee, presumably without an audience or with a very small one. Previously advertised appearances at the Konzerthaus with these programmes have now been deleted from the VP site.

Local Covid-rules apply. For examples, it seems that in Munich the current concert situation requires an orchestra to field no more than fifty musicians playing to an audience of no more than that number of spectators … whereas, in Vienna – a four-hour high-speed train journey away – the Philharmonic has imminent full-orchestra concerts planned with Thielemann (Bruckner 3, hopefully with Sony Classical in attendance) https://www.wienerphilharmoniker.at/concerts/list/groupid/219 and then with Mehta (including Webern’s Opus 6 and Strauss’s Zarathustra) https://www.wienerphilharmoniker.at/concerts/list/groupid/220.
