To add to the above. I am the editor of The Classical Source (www.classicalsource.com) and have held the role for close on twenty years. Not been doing any editing since October 18 when I was admitted to hospital, then another one, and was out of action for two months. Home now, since just before Christmas, but a halfway house, as I am due an operation soon, but that may be delayed! Still, I now have a beard, which the ladies in my life like, so it stays! Meanwhile, I met numerous caring people in hospital, and I now have a new take on Holst’s ‘Mars’ (state secret though) and found someone who once inadvertently nicknamed Beethoven 3 as the “Erotika”. What great friends I have – huge thanks to those who visited me in hospital, or contacted me in various ways… Next instalment soon, dear readers. Best, Colin
