Opening trumpet solo is presumably by Bernard Adelstein. Certainly Myron Bloom, horn, in third movement. The Adagietto (from 41’55”) lasts eight minutes. Overall, a stunning performance given on March 5, 1970, not, as it could be read, May 3, as then the Clevelanders were rehearsing with Szell for a Severance Hall concert on the 7th (which turned out to be his last there) followed by a tour of Japan, so advise some informed YT commentators.
