The Edward Johnson bonus track…
Conducted by Earl Bernard Murray.
At 2:46 p.m. today (UK time) the spring equinox will arrive. Frank Bridge’s Enter Spring/Groves. Delius’s On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring/Collins. John Foulds’s April – England/Marriner. Johann Strauss’s Frühlingsstimmen/Gielen. Sibelius’s Spring Song.
Well noted Colin (pun not intended). Lovely choice, and a lovely day.
