    Missing from the above cast list:

    “The role of Priam will be sung by Tristan Hambleton, as William Thomas is sadly unwell.” [BBC Proms]

      Thomas was replaced as NARBAL by Alex Rosen. The whole 4 hours were outstanding: live music at its best.

        Then the press release should have read:

        The role of Priam will be sung by Tristan Hambleton. As William Thomas is sadly unwell, Alex Rosen will sing the role of Narbal. Dinis Sousa will conduct the performance.

        It now seems that William Thomas was singing both Narbal and Priam and was replaced by Alex Rosen as Narbal and by Tristan Hambleton as Priam. That’s enough detective work for one day!

          indeed! well done, sir! I think Priam just appears as a ghost & has 16 words only. Mr H ‘stepped out’ of the chorus for this.
