    What an absolute dull Last Night of the Proms! A lot of talking and little music, blink and you’d missed it.Uninspired. It seemed all about Angel Blue who wore a horrible outfit. Wasn’t there anyone to advice her how to flatter a full figure. She’s not the only singer with that problem. The BBC orchestra, chorus and singers were excellent as always. Quite honestly I wouldn’t stay home fir it next year.

      and why get Sir Stephen to play only the middle part of the S-Saens? The last movement would have brought the house down…..but I enjoyed his playing (not so much the encore) and the Walton and Faure. Given the prices it is better to go to 3 other Proms for the same money! The season as whole was really excellent.
