Very sadly, Hilary Hahn has had to withdraw from her Prom with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra on Tuesday 26 August due to an ongoing injury. We are hugely grateful to Isabelle Faust for stepping in at short notice. The programme remains unchanged and is as follows:
Sibelius’s Second
Arvo Pärt Cantus in memoriam Benjamin Britten (6’)
Dvořák Violin Concerto in A minor (32’)
—–
Sibelius Symphony No. 2 (46’)
