So, I was pleased to catch Schumann’s Fourth Symphony (revised score, 1851) conducted by Kirill Petrenko, a virile and shapely account well-worth finding time to listen to, and it was interesting to hear the Mozart pieces in a very different acoustic to that of La Sagrada Familia.

However, not out of criticism but for the sake of good record, the Radio 3 presenter was mistaken to state that the Berlin programme was repeated in Barcelona, for the Schumann did not travel there; instead, other Mozart works were added, so too pieces by Silvestrov and Takemitsu, as below.
