|Your BPO is committed to the health and safety of our musicians, staff, volunteers, audiences and community. We have been working closely with local and state health officials to keep everyone who attends BPO performances at Kleinhans Music Hall safe. Recent trends in the pandemic continue to concern all of us. In alignment with measures taken by other live entertainment operators including Shea’s and the Buffalo Bills, the BPO will now be implementing a full COVID-19 vaccination requirement and continuing our masking policy for all staff, volunteers, performers and audiences at Kleinhans Music Hall. These protocols are in effect through October 30, 2021 and may be extended if community transmission levels of COVID-19 remain high.
All patrons over the age of 12 who attend BPO performances at Kleinhans Music Hall will be required to provide proof of vaccination and identification at every performance. Acceptable documentation includes an immunization card showing at least two doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The performance date must be at least two weeks out from the date of your second dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines or from your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Proof of a negative test for COVID-19 will no longer be accepted for patrons over the age of 12.
Policy for Children Age 12 and Under
Children age 12 and under must show proof of a recent negative test for COVID-19 – either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time or an antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. No other test results will be accepted.
For the time being, masks will continue to be required for all patrons for the duration of every performance, including while seated for the performance. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you free of charge.
