Today at 10 p.m. (UK time): I was hoping for a webcast of the Rhode Island Philharmonic’s gala concert with Renée Fleming and Leonard Slatkin … but, aside from a video for its archive, no dice. Repertoire includes Light Cavalry and Force of Destiny overtures, Richard Strauss’s Four Last Songs, movements from Vaughan Williams’s Concerto grosso, and Richard Rodgers’s ‘Carousel’ Waltz.
