Colin Davis: The Man and his Music (hour-long documentary made in 2012, the penultimate year of Sir Colin’s life; he died at the age of 85).

A marvellous film about a marvellous man playing marvellous music.
Of his generation one of the greatest up with the very best.
Also he commanded rehearsals I attended in a unique way. He transformed the sound of what ever he played. He made a youth orchestra become a seasoned pro ensemble in some of the finest scores ever written.
I treasured these moments and received some of the strangest transformations in his rehearsals.
