These 95 CDs, focusing primarily on symphonic repertoire, precede a collection of operas and sacred works to come in October 2023. Together, the two boxes form Otto Klemperer: The Warner Classics Remastered Edition: the German-born conductor’s entire Warner Classics catalogue, many of which are considered landmark recordings.

While the vast majority of the Complete Recordings of Symphonic Works originate from Klemperer’s period with the Philharmonia/New Philharmonia Orchestra, the box also includes recordings made in Berlin in the late 1920s, and in the 1960s with the Orchestre National de la Radiodiffusion Française.

Originally recorded for EMI Columbia, HMV, Electrola and Parlophone, the recordings have been newly remastered in HD 192/24 by Art et Son Studio, Annecy from original tapes (in the case of LPs) or the best available source (in the case of 78RPM recordings).
