Dalia Stasevska is the new Chief Conductor of Finland’s Lahti Symphony Orchestra. She starts her tenure in September next year.

    I have not yet heard this lady. It is an interesting, fashionable appointment. A female view of Sibelius will be welcome.

      Edward, Stasevska is Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, so when we hopefully return to ‘normal’ concert life you should have numerous opportunities to experience her music-making first-hand. Colin
