The winning combination of trailblazing composer, Debbie Wiseman and the nation’s leading gardener, writer and broadcaster, Alan Titchmarsh has worked its magic again as they enter the Official UK Classical Album Chart at the coveted Number One position with their brand-new album ‘Jack Frost – A Winter Story’, released on Silva Screen Records.
This enchanting chart-topping album sees Debbie Wiseman’s exquisite music paired with Alan Titchmarsh’s delightful story, lyrics and narration in a wintry retelling in words and music of the Jack Frost story, alongside two brand-new carols, two musical suites and three solo piano pieces.
This is the second time that this talented pair has topped the charts, Debbie and Alan having previously reached these lofty heights with their successful 2018 collaboration, ‘The Glorious Garden’.
Says Debbie Wiseman: “It’s always such a joy working with Alan. We have developed a great partnership over the years and it’s a treat for both of us to share the magic of the season with audiences at this time”. Adds Alan Titchmarsh: “I wanted to evoke here that magical feeling in childhood when you wake up and there’s a whole winter wonderland outside. It was such a pleasure to work with Debbie to bring ‘Jack Frost’ to life”.
