    thank you for posting this, Colin; I do not have my computer linked to my hi-fi so will not personally listen but I can commend his Elgar 1 hugely from a BSO performance in Portsmouth: it was outstanding (equalled only in my concert going by George Hurst and Andre Manze (Manchester) and Norrington in Paris and Vienna.
