Everyone at the English National Opera is really sorry to announce that the first two performances of The Handmaid’s Tale are to be cancelled. Despite the best efforts made by everyone involved in this brilliant opera, Covid has continued to disrupt the rehearsal process and we want to ensure that audiences can enjoy a show of the ENO’s usual high calibre.
The first performance of The Handmaid’s Tale will now be on Friday 8 April beginning at 19.30.
We want to reassure all of our audiences that safety remains our number one priority and we are confident that we have adhered to all required health and safety protocols. We are so sad to be cancelling these performances and are really grateful to you for your continued support.
