It is reported locally (i.e. in Rome), if speculatively, that Daniele Gatti will succeed Antonio Pappano as music director of Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Pappano is there until the end of the 22-23 season). Gatti, currently at Rome Opera, was previously titled at Santa Cecilia during the 1990s.
