For the record – May 15, 16 & 17 – Herbert Blomstedt conducting San Francisco Symphony in Mahler Nine. Blomstedt has withdrawn today following doctor’s advice. He is replaced by David Robertson, also yesterday. HB did conduct on the 15th if under difficult circumstances and he missed two rehearsals.
