When one of the most widely-admired and significant American composers takes issue with the BBC and challenges the Corporation to ‘come to its senses’, we must hope that whomsoever is this week’s Government Culture Secretary joins with the Deputy Prime Minister in condemning these crass decisions. But I doubt if he/she even understands what is at stake here.
Yes, thank you Mr Adams. Good to know that one of our American cousins is as bewildered and as angry as we are here in the UK regarding the barbaric BBC cuts by the wicked gang of four below.
Email addresses for the use of:
Director General Tim Davie (timdavieoffice@bbc.co.uk)
Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore (charlotte.moore@bbc.co.uk)
Head of Music Lorna Clarke (lorna.clarke@bbc.co.uk).
As an aside, the absurdly overpaid Gary Lineker was nowhere to be seen on either Match of the Day this weekend, and last night’s was awful, one match and loads of waffle and replays, a waste of time. Cut Lineker’s salary and save the BBC singers and orchestras, far more worthy than a few football pundits talking bollocks.

Thank you, John Adams.
Well said sir.

I don’t have an address for Simon Webb.
Well done John Adams.
