I only tuned-in to BBC One for the results – drawn-out/OTT/hysterical – and became very annoyed by the unknown woman doing a superfluous and increasingly irritating voice-over, rudely covering her fellow-presenters, as well as the various countries’ representatives giving their votes, with worthless interjections: “Right!”, “Okay!”.

I quite agree. Whoever she was was certainly annoying and not needed in any way. I had to mute the television sound to get rid of her.
I agree. It was I think Mel Giedroyc, from the voice anyway, and who I like very much, although on this occasion she was an addition too much.
