    I would have thought Esa-Pekka would have emphasised Sibelius 4 at this stage of his career if only to promote a work that is generally overlooked outside of Finland. He is clearly not following Berglund in taking the score of No.4 around to orchestras who rarely played No. 2, let alone the infinitely greater 4. But Esa-Pekka has never seemed a truly committed Sibelian for reasons he only knows.
