Very good to have news of Malcolm, whom John and I used to know well. Sadly I’ve lost touch with him in recent years. He was an absolutely marvellous pianist, very much under-rated. He was also very generous with his talent, giving free recitals on behalf of local institutions, including the music club that John and I set up, and another in Faversham. He was patron of the local choral society, and we first got to know him as a result of a fund-raising recital he gave for the local choral society.
Happy birthday Malcolm. It would be great if we could re-connect.
