Vienna Philharmonic at the Musikverein – Zubin Mehta conducts the Overture to Oberon & Beethoven Seven, with Pinchas Zukerman playing Max Bruch’s G-minor Violin Concerto. Live relay on Österreich 1 [oe1.ORF.at].

Amidst numerous recent cancellations, Zubin Mehta, on the Friday, Saturday & Sunday just gone – November 7, 8 & 9 – was able to conduct one of his signature pieces, Bruckner’s Eighth Symphony, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the third performance reviewed here by Mark Swed for the Los Angeles Times, published November 11 and linked to.
