My favourite Mozart Piano Concerto (more or less): No.25, K503, in Friedrich Gulda’s wonderful 1976 DG recording with Claudio Abbado & the Vienna Phil.

Friedrich Gulda (1930-2000)

For me, this performance is the one to judge all other 503s.

One of my favourite pieces by Mozart.

    I actually like very much like Gulda’s Beethoven cycle. Sprightly, alive and full of life. I must catch this Mozart gem, a great favourite. Thanks Colin.
