Gennadi Rozhdestvensky (1931-2018)

I got to know this recording as a lower-age teenager (early-1970s) through HMV’s licensed release (and kept playing it!): https://www.discogs.com/release/1039582-Tchaikovsky-Moscow-Radio-Symphony-Orchestra-Conducted-By-Gennady-Rozhdestvensky-The-Swan-Lake-Ballet/image/SW1hZ2U6Njg5ODU2Mjg=

One of the great recordings: Gennadi Rozhdestvensky & the Leningrad Philharmonic – Tchaikovsky’s Francesca da Rimini coupled with a Suite from Khachaturian’s Gayane (1961/stereo).
