The New York Philharmonic announces that Karina Canellakis, who had been scheduled to conduct the concerts on April 27–29, 2023, has withdrawn from her appearances as she is expecting a child in May.

Jonathon Heyward will now conduct these concerts, which will mark his NY Phil debut. The program, which remains unchanged, features Brahms’s Violin Concerto, with Christian Tetzlaff as soloist, Zosha Di Castri’s Lineage, and Lutosławski’s Concerto for Orchestra.
