From 3 May to 9 June (Flagey and Centre for Fine Arts)

Drawing of lots
Due to the sanitary measures in force, the candidates have arrived a week earlier than usual. Upon
their arrival, they all tested negative. They are now in quarantine while awaiting a second test before
their performance in the first round. If you would like to follow the draw, which will determine the
order of appearance, please connect via this Zoom link on Saturday May 1st at 11am. The order of
appearance will be announced shortly after on www.queenelisabethcompetition.be.

Broadcasts : from the first round until the laureates’ concerts
As there will be no public in the concert halls, we have made sure that our audience will not miss a
note of the performances! RTBF, VRT and our partner Proximus decided are making an extra effort
during this difficult period. The entire 2021 Piano Competition will be live video streamed on our
website. The lack of ticket sales for the second year in a row means a serious loss for our non-profit
organisation. Therefore, we suggest that our viewers make a free contribution during the live
broadcast of the performances on our website www.queenelisabethcompetition.be, in order to help
us support the young talented pianists taking part in this exceptional year.

While the composition of the jury may vary from one round to another, the members of the jury
attend the whole of the round that they have been appointed to judge. Global list of jury members :
