Richard Egarr gives his final full-season concert as Music Director of Academy of Ancient Music, exploring some of Venetian composer Dario Castello’s finest works, and that of his contemporaries. The concert follows AAM and Egarr’s 2016 recording of Castello’s first book of sonatas (***** BBC Music Magazine; “A joy for ear and spirit” Gramophone Magazine).
