One year from today, the Vaughan Williams Charitable Trust and RVW Trust will join forces to mark the 150th birthday of Ralph Vaughan Williams and the enormous impact his work had on musical life in the UK. Working with presenters in the UK and internationally, we are looking at a spread of celebrations from the very small to the very large, from church choirs to symphony orchestras, brass bands to opera houses, from hymns to symphonies, ballets, and film. The festivities will start in February and continue through the birthday on 12th October 2022 and into spring 2023. A fuller announcement will follow.
