Sad news – Bruckner scholar & editor William Carragan has died aged 86. Finale of Symphony Nine, completed by Carragan, conducted by Gerd Schaller.
Carragan’s editions and completions (of No 9) have given me pleasure over many years. I think we have his best efforts so can say a sad farewell to an astute editor of Bruckner.
