Sad news – Menahem Pressler has died aged 99.

Many Happy Returns to Menahem Pressler – pianist, teacher and co-founder & member of the Beaux Arts Trio (1955-2008) – who turns 99 today. Video of his Tokyo recital on October 16, 2017, in Suntory Hall.

    I turned pages for him at a Beaux Arts recital at Snape back in the 1970s. One of the Schubert Trios was on the programme. He was a real charmer
