| (SF, 14 August 2023) To her great regret, Martha Argerich has had to cancel her appearance at the Großes Festspielhaus on 17 August 2023 for health reasons. The Salzburg festival wishes Martha Argerich a speedy recovery and thanks Igor Levit for taking on the piano part in Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto. Daniel Barenboim conducts the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. This will be Igor Levit and Daniel Barenboim’s first joint performance at the Salzburg Festival.
