    Up with Sir Simon’s more recent performance.
    It looks like the LSO is continuing its noble support for the great Finn in Pappano’s appointment. Colin Davis, Simon Rattle and soon Antonio Pappano. All world class conductors of course but also believers in Sibelius’s genius. I will begin to hold my breath for an outing of the austere No 4 which is grievously ignored in London’s concert hall’s.
