Leading soprano Natalya Romaniw today announced that she will be represented for general management by New York based Sempre Artists and for European management by Milan based InArt. For Sempre Artists, Romaniw will be represented by the company’s founder Kristin Cowdin and at InArt by its co-founder Andrea De Amici.

“Outstanding” Welsh-Ukrainian soprano Romaniw is celebrated as one of the world’s most exciting sopranos whose intense dramatic interpretations and powerful spinto voice have made her a favourite at major international opera houses. Currently starring in Tosca at the Royal Ballet and Opera, Covent Garden, Natalya’s performance has received glowing comparisons with Maria Callas from the Times and the Guardian praised her “rare subtle delicacy and depth of colouring to the title role. Hers is always a vulnerable Tosca, not a wildcat, and she rewards with the loveliest singing of the evening.” The Stage said “Romaniw brings her peerless soprano to bear on the title role, offering exceptional tonal beauty, plus considerable expressive variety and extraordinary ease of delivery. Dramatically, she summons up a multi-faceted vision of the volatile, fatally jealous diva, delineating Tosca’s complexity with impressive purpose.”

Tosca is a role she’s sung to great acclaim previously at the Royal Ballet and Opera as well as at Staatsoper Hamburg, Oper Frankfurt and Deutsche Oper Berlin. In February 2025 she will appear in Mark Anthony Turnage’s new opera Festen, also at the Royal Ballet and Opera, before making her Wigmore Hall debut solo song recital in March. Future international dates include returns to Berlin and other leading houses and festivals.

Natalya Romaniw commented: “I’m delighted to join forces with Kristin and Andrea, and their respective teams at Sempre and InArt, who have already proved to be inspiring and creative partners. I’ve loved my discussions with them and look forward to working with them closely in the years ahead.”

Kristin Cowdin, President, Sempre Artists, commented: “I have long admired Natalya and her artistry. It has been a joy to experience her rich vocalism and musicality paired with gripping and emotional performances over the years. And now, I am excited and honoured to begin partnering with her as her career and artistry continue to grow and reach new stages—while also continuing to return to companies where she’s become a fast and treasured favourite.”

Andrea De Amici, Founder & Manager, InArt commented: “We are so pleased to welcome Natalya to the InArt roster and look forward to working closely with her alongside the team at Sempre Artists.”
