Advance ticket sales start on 1 November: Strom– Festival for Electronic Music  6 & 7 February 2026 at the Philharmonie Berlin

Following the success of the sold-out Strom festivals in 2020 and 2023, the Berliner Philharmoniker Foundation is bringing electronic music back to the Philharmonie for two evenings in February 2026 with the third Strom festival.

Strom – Festival for Electronic Music showcases the range of synthetic sound and enables it to interact with the timeless, visionary architecture of the Philharmonie Berlin, the home of the Berliner Philharmoniker. In times of uncertainty about the future of festivals and club closures, which are affecting the city’s music scene and causing creative spaces to disappear, Strom is an important commitment to the diversity and innovative power of Berlin’s music landscape. For the 2026 festival, curator Stefan Goldmann has once again put together a top-class line-up:

Alva Noto
Azu Tiwaline & Cinna Peyghamy
Ben Klock & Fadi Mohem
DJ Marfox
Ehua
Ellen Allien
Fennesz & Oscar Jockel – with ensemble
Murcof + Sergi Palau
Polygonia
Stefan Goldmann

Installation: Nevin Aladağ “Jamming”

Stefan Goldmann, Curator: “Strom has proven to be a safe haven for concertante electronic music in Berlin, placing it on an equal footing with pure club formats – something that is almost unique among the capital’s concert institutions. A particular highlight of the 2026 festival is likely to be the world premiere of a major collaborative work by ambient innovator Fennesz and composer and conductor Oscar Jockel. In this piece, audiovisual synthesis meets a fascinating ensemble that also includes members of the Berliner Philharmoniker. This will be immediately followed by a DJ set by Ellen Allien in the foyer of the Philharmonie Berlin: an artist who, like no other, represents Berlin’s rise to become the capital of techno. Similar stark contrasts can also be found on the second day of the festival, when Alva Noto gives one of his rare concerts in Berlin. Afterwards, Ben Klock plays a bass-heavy finale in a back-to-back set with Fadi Mohem. Overall, the programme is based on a series of key contributions that chart the now internationally diverse developments in electronic music – from the Afro-Portuguese batida sound of DJ Marfox to the combination of Iranian rhythmic traditions with modular synthesis by Azu Tiwaline & Cinna Peyghamy.”

Advance ticket sales begin online on 1 November at 11:00. Tickets can be purchased individually for each evening and cost between €25 and €55. More information on our website.
