HIGHLIGHTS OF TANGLEWOOD PROGRAMS TAKING PLACE JUNE 17–JULY 8
Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band open the Tanglewood season on June 17; James Taylor returns to Tanglewood for his July 3 and 4 concerts; the Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Andris Nelsons, present their opening night concert, with special guest Jean-Yves Thibaudet on July 8; Emanuel Ax curates the first of four programs under the title Pathways from Prague to open Ozawa Hall for the first time since 2019 on July 7; and the Tanglewood Music Center and Tanglewood Learning Institute launch their summer activities on June 25 with a String Quartet performance and education series featuring the Juilliard String Quartet
