| CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Orchestra is excited to announce the 19th year of its celebrated residency in Miami, furthering its strong partnership with the Adrienne Arsht Center of the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. The 2026 season brings a series of unforgettable performances, educational programs, and community engagement initiatives to Miami audiences, continuing the Orchestra’s connection to the vibrant cultural landscape of South Florida. “We are thrilled to return to the Arsht Center next season for our 19th year of our residency in South Florida,” said André Gremillet, President & CEO of The Cleveland Orchestra. “Knight Concert Hall provides a superb venue for connecting with Miami’s enthusiastic audiences, and we look forward to our continued collaboration. We are proud to be part of Miami’s thriving cultural scene as we contribute to further developing this great city’s symphonic music audience, both with our concerts and educational activities.” Music Director Franz Welser-Möst conducts The Cleveland Orchestra in Verdi’s Requiem on January 23 and 24, 2026. This monumental work features the powerful voices of soprano Asmik Grigorian, mezzo-soprano Deniz Uzun, tenor Joshua Guerrero, and bass Tareq Nazmi, alongside The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. Known for its dramatic intensity and emotional depth, Verdi’s Requiem is a stirring masterpiece that showcases the Orchestra’s virtuosity and the brilliance of the professionally trained, all-volunteer Chorus. Special this season is Itzhak Perlman: Cinema Serenade on January 28, 2026. The world-renowned violinist joins The Cleveland Orchestra for this unforgettable concert, blending the magic of cinema with the brilliance of live orchestral music. With his extraordinary technique and rich sound, Perlman brings to life some of the most iconic film scores, including John Williams’s stirring theme from Schindler’s List and Ennio Morricone’s beloved Cinema Paradiso theme. Renowned pianist Yefim Bronfman joins Welser-Möst and the Orchestra for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor,” on January 30 and 31, 2026. After Bronfman shines in Beethoven’s iconic work, the Orchestra brings the evening to a thrilling conclusion with Mozart’s grand Symphony No. 41, “Jupiter.” The Cleveland Orchestra wraps up its Miami Residency with Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring on March 27 and 28, 2026. Conductor Rafael Payare leads the Orchestra and New World Symphony Fellows in side-by-side performances of Stravinsky’s ballet that scandalized listeners at its premiere in 1913.
