It’s a stunning rendition!
I knew Andre Watts from school. I asked him about his recording of the Rach 3rd and he said he didn’t care for his recording, which surprised me. The last time I saw and spoke with Andre was in San Diego after a performance of the Rach 2nd conducted by Gergiev in 2006. His performance was masterful!
