Well, someone should take him up on the challenge and play, say, a Dudamel recording, maybe Ginastera’s Malonga!. And let’s see if the coffin opens and he arises to complain. First complaint resurrection on record (no pun intended!). Not all young conductors or musicians are just vain hand weavers. Eighty years should soften you not make you more arrogant!
