Given that Zubin Mehta is an artist I follow, I was keen to be involved with his April 29 concert as a spectator. Having recently conducted six Vienna Philharmonic concerts of Bruckner Seven, https://www.colinscolumn.com/wiener-philharmoniker-at-the-musikverein-zubin-mehta-conducts-bruckners-seventh-symphony-with-martha-argerich-playing-ravels-g-major-piano-concerto-live-relay-on-osterreich-1-oe1-orf-at/, Mehta was then due in Berlin for Bruckner Eight on Good Friday with the Staatskapelle. Sadly, it was not scheduled for broadcast (even though the venue was the Philharmonie, home of the Philharmoniker, an orchestra Mehta has conducted regularly since 1961, and also the base for the Berliners’ Digital Concert Hall), so I am pleased to find the following in-English review to know that the concert took place and went well.
