With the BBC Proms 2022 season commencing on Friday 15 July, there are a number of amendments to the published guide we wanted to make you aware of. These are listed below. 

Prom 8 (Wednesday 20 July) 
Alexander Gavrylyuk has withdrawn from this Prom for health reasons. We are grateful to Denis Kozhukhin for taking his place. The programme remains the same.

Prom 10 (Friday 22 July)  

Conductor Bramwell Tovey has had to withdraw from this Prom due to health reasons. We are grateful to Barry Wordsworth for taking his place.

Proms at Birmingham (Monday 29 August) 
The title of Errollyn Wallen’s commission will be Lady Super Spy Adventurer

Prom 60 (Thursday 1 September) 
This Prom will be called ‘The Dream Prom’ and will feature musical stories from this year’s BBC Open Music trainees reflecting the ideas of dreams, memories and the healing power of music.
