I wasn’t planning to comment, but this Sunday-morning concert proved very special based on exceptional violin- and ensemble-playing at the service of Baroque music that received wonderful revelatory performances.

All I can say is “Wow!” So exquisite! Probably the best Proms baroque night for many years. Let’s hope the BBC invites Le Consort and Théotime Langlois de Swarte back soon.
Truly awesome and inspirational, le Consort should appear every year at the Proms and other global Baroque music festivals to celebrate not just Vivaldi and Bach but the many lesser-known composers to widen our appreciation of classical virtuoso strings ability and sheer skill in mastery and performance!
I loved , loved , loved le consort but more particularly Teotine Langlois de Swartz, total magic, haven’t stopped thinking of their amazing performance. I pray they will be back soon.
